It's been a busy few months this spring. G had her 3rd birthday, how is that even possible? She's become a very opinionated little princess, must get that from me. She insisted on wearing her princess dress to daycare this week. Was no big deal other then when it was pick up time. According to her preschool teacher, when it was pick up time she announced that "princesses don't pick up". Her dress was changed promptly so she could pick up.
I planted a garden again this year, or at least started to. I'm trying a new location in the yard since it didn't get enough sun last year. I've got potatoes and onions in so far. Planning to put in peppers, corn and pumpkins as well. Who would have thought I enjoy growing stuff so much.
I've also been reading a lot lately. Some of my latest reads and their reviews:
- "I, Alex Cross" James Patterson..... very good book, sucked me in and I couldn't put it down. But James Patterson is pretty good at doing that to me.
- "Witch and Wizard" James Patterson..... also a very good book, although the ending left me hanging and I didn't like that part. I hope he hurries with the next one in the series, I don't like it when I have to re-read the book just to know what's going on.
- "My Horizonal Life" Chelsea Handler..... I loved this book, laughed until I cried. And I thought living vicariously through my friends was fun!
